DEVELOPMENT OF HIGH-QUALITY FOOD PROTEINS THROUGH THE SUSTAINABLE PRODUCTION AND PROCESSING OF LEGUME CULTIVATION

First talk is now available 

Last Thursday, May 19, the first of the series of talks with agents of the sector organized by PROTEINLEG was held, within the framework of the dissemination activities of the project. This first talk consisted of a round table that revolved around how the war in Ukraine is affecting Galician livestock. PROTEINLEG was also presented to the attendees. To address these issues, the event was attended by:

  • Lucio García, from the Centro Tecnolóxico da Carne.
  • Higinio Mougán, from AGACA.
  • Cruz Castro, from ASOPORCEL.
En la jornada se trataron temas tan interesantes y de actualidad para el sector ganadero como son la subida de los precios de las materias primas, la falta de abastecimiento o la viabilidad de leguminosas como alternativa a la soja en la elaboración de piensos. En este sentido, también se discutió la capacidad de iniciativas como PROTEINLEG para revertir la dependencia de la ganadería respecto a la soja.
