After the great interest that arose around the first talk with agents of the sector, focused on how the war in Ukraine affected Galician livestock, next Thursday, November 17, the second of this series of talks will be held.
Under the title “The challenges of the transition to a diet based on vegetable protein”, the talk will revolve around plant-based products at a social level. Through the experiences of chefs, researchers and production companies we will discover the challenges of the transition from meat and fish to vegetarian products and the learning challenges that this is posing for the different actors in the value chain. Likewise, Ángel Sanabria, from FEUGA, will present the PROTEINLEG Operational Group, focusing on the results that the project, already in its final phase of execution, has achieved to date.
The day will be moderated by Silvia Moreno, from MIMIC SeaFood, an entity participating in PROTEINLEG, responsible for the development of new plant-based products for human food based on legumes.
